Description

Estremo76 (エストレーモ76) is a power-versatile bass rod born from a collaboration between TRANSCENDENCE and TULALA, built for monster bass fished from shore on Lake Biwa. It also handles big-bait seabass games and akame (Japanese lates) fishing.

The blank is a 4-axis carbon construction with titanium/SiC composite guides and a Titanium Torzite top guide, geared to work everything from soft plastics up to 6oz lures on a single rod.

Length: 7.6ft. Closed length: 1655mm. Rod weight: 212g. Line: 16-25lb fluorocarbon (the guide train is built primarily around fluoro), though PE#4 with a 50lb leader also casts and clears the guides cleanly. Lure weight: 10-180g.

What makes it different

Built to fish, not just to sell

The blank

A 4-axis carbon blank with a stout mid and butt section paired with a forgiving tip, built to load smoothly with soft plastics and swing progressively into a strong lifting curve as lure weight climbs toward 180g.

What it's built for

Suited to shore fishing for monster largemouth bass around Lake Biwa where big swimbaits and glide baits are needed to reach or work deep structure, and doubles for big-bait seabass and akame sessions.

How it fishes

Handles everything from finesse soft plastics up to heavy glide baits and swimbaits on one blank, with enough backbone to work big-bait style walk-the-dog and slow-roll retrieves and drive hooks home at range.

The setup it likes

Pair with a high-power baitcast reel geared for slow-rolling heavy lures, 16–25lb fluorocarbon main line (or PE#4 with a 50lb leader) and lures ranging from 10g finesse plastics up to 180g glide baits.

FAQ

What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?

JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.

How do I read Japanese rod lengths?

Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.

One-piece or multi-piece for travel?

Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.

What warranty or service do imported rods have?

There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.

Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?

It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
