Description
The Tenryu Fates Benett (フェイテス・ベネット) is a trout fly rod built around an "Old is New" concept, pairing ultra-low elasticity carbon with a glass-like, supple feel for torque-rich loops at a range of distances. It has a short Ritz-style cork grip with a cap-and-ring reel seat, a decorative thread wrap roughly 30cm from the grip end, and a dedicated hook keeper.
This listing stocks three 4-piece models, all 86/14% carbon/glass: FB6104-#2/3 (#2/3 line, 2.08m/6'10", 52g), FB744-#3/4 (#3/4 line, 2.24m/7'4", 57g), and FB864-#4/5 (#4/5 line, 2.59m/8'6", 68g). Aimed at trout in mountain streams, rivers and managed catch-and-release fisheries.

FAQ
What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?
JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.
How do I read Japanese rod lengths?
Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.
One-piece or multi-piece for travel?
Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.
What warranty or service do imported rods have?
There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.
Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?
It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
