CRIMSON is tailwalk's borderless & versatile lure rod series, built for casting across a wide range of waters -- harbors, small to large rivers, surf, rocky shores and lakes. "R" (regular action) models are suited to fast-moving lures such as crankbaits, minnows, chatterbaits and swimbaits, reducing excess recoil when a fish strikes. Built with a medium elasticity carbon blank and Fuji SiC ring guides throughout.

Targets: bass, trout, seabass, pike, zander, catfish, squid, and pelagic fish.

A medium-elasticity carbon blank with a regular action gives the Crimson Telescopic a forgiving, fast-recoiling bend that keeps fast-moving lures such as crankbaits and chatterbaits swimming true, while Fuji SiC guides carry the retrieve smoothly through every telescopic section.

What it's built for

Built as a borderless, do-it-all lure rod for harbours, small to large rivers, surf, rocky shores and lakes, covering bass, trout, seabass, pike, zander, catfish and squid depending on model. The C66M-R/T handles the heaviest lures, the S76ML-R/T the lightest and longest casts.

How it fishes

Suits a straight, moderate-speed retrieve for crankbaits and swimbaits and a steady wind for chatterbaits, with the regular action absorbing a strike without pulling the lure away from a following fish. Telescopic sections collapse fast for spot-hopping between marks.

The setup it likes

Pair the C66M-R/T with a 2500–3000 spinning reel on 12–16 lb line or PE 2.0–3.0, and the S76ML-R/T with a 2000–2500 reel on PE 1.0–1.5 with a matching fluorocarbon leader.
