Description
The Sinking Shad SS70 is a 70 mm, 13 g flat-bodied sinking pencil from Tackle House, fitted with an STBL41TN#6 hook. The flattened profile produces the S-shaped fall typical of a sinking pencil combined with an irregular rolling wobble, giving it a high-appeal action.
Its broad flank makes it react sensitively to waves, current and small eddies, so it flutters with the water the way real baitfish do. Tackle House recommend it for bay and estuary sessions where current is the key factor, and note it works especially well when the baitfish present are deep-bodied species such as sappa, hiiragi, umitanago and aji.
