Description

The Studio Composite Oval Wire Split Ring (オーバルワイヤースプリットリング) replaces the usual round profile with an oval-shaped wire form.

The oval shape spreads the ring's left-right opening force across the wire, reducing the risk of the ring splitting under load. It was developed alongside Studio Composite's Twin Hook system and is built to pair with it. Compared with a round ring of the same width, the oval ring stands roughly 20% taller, lifting the hook away from the lure body — this stabilises the lure's swimming posture and keeps the hook point clear of the body, reducing missed strikes and improving hook-up rate.
