It inherits the same action and concept as the 2.8in — action-responsive arm parts combined with a ring-textured body that keeps grabbing water and moving from the moment it enters — in a more compact body suited to high-activity conditions and small, pinpoint spots that the 2.8in alone can't fully cover.

When to throw it

The compact 2.4in size suits high-activity conditions and small, pinpoint spots that the larger 2.8in can't fully cover, rigged on a free rig with a pegged, semi-fixed sinker for chinning black seabream.

How to work it

Fish it on a free rig, letting the sinker settle and the worm work in place; small lifts and drops keep the arms and body moving without pulling it out of the strike zone.

Suits a rock or boat chinu rod matched to a free rig, a 2500-3000 spinning reel, PE0.6-1 braid and a fluorocarbon leader a touch heavier than typical bottom rigs.
