Smith MISAGO JIG 38g Blue Pink 03 is Smith's rear-weighted slim jig for sea-run trout, at the stated official weight and body length (96mm).

Its thin knife-edge head is designed to sharpen the action off the fall and stabilise the swim across retrieve speeds, while the rear-weighted, slim silhouette — shaped to match baitfish such as sand lance (オオナゴ) and pond smelt (ワカサギ) — is built to hold distance when casting into wind. The maker developed it for sea-run sakura trout (海サクラ) and sea-run amago (海アメ) fishing in Hokkaido, with results also reported in lake trout casting games. It is a hookless-spec jig (sold without hooks) and is named after the misago (鷚), the fish-eating osprey. Sold in Japan as ミサゴジグ; this listing is colourway 03, ブルーピンク (Blue Pink).
