Description
TROUTIN' SPIN FIELDREAM NEUE LIMITED (トラウティンスピン フィールドリーム ノイエリミテッド) is a high-performance area-trout rod from Smith's "Neue" (German for "new") line, known for precisely detecting and hooking even the most delicate bites.
The line was reworked from the ground up with a newly designed grip and blank, and guide settings tailored to each model's intended role, aiming to make every moment from cast to landing more enjoyable. The lineup centres on a 5'11" length chosen for easy handling and range control, minimising the adjustment needed when switching tackle.
The new grip uses the Neue series' first down-lock structure with a slimmed-down shape for a comfortable, secure hold; an aluminium pipe at the separated grip section boosts rigidity and balances weight. The new blank is designed for a supple feel with resilient torque under load; the T511L-RF and T511ML-F models blend in amorphous carbon fibre for a smoother feel and higher impact strength.
2-piece tubular models, unsanded finish; guides are a titanium-frame KGST (SiC) top guide with titanium-frame SiC-S guides elsewhere.

FAQ
What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?
JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.
How do I read Japanese rod lengths?
Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.
One-piece or multi-piece for travel?
Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.
What warranty or service do imported rods have?
There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.
Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?
It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
