Description

The Regular Guard Talisman is a guarded wacky-style hook built on Ryugi's well-regarded Talisman shape, with its geometry slightly adjusted to accept a weed guard. It's intended for power spinning or baitcasting tackle rated 4lb line or heavier, used around relatively light cover.

The guard uses a carefully selected multi-strand material that isn't overly stiff, giving good snag resistance while still folding out of the way on the bite so it doesn't hinder hooksets. This also reduces the pulled-hook misses that guarded hooks can be prone to, and the guard material is easy to reshape by hand after landing a fish. Finished in TC Black.
