ZEIGO is reins' ajing spinning rod series, built for aggressive-style jig-head and rig fishing.

Ultra-light blanks built specifically for jig-head work: the solid-tip 55 GOHAN loads softly for direct feel on close-range jigs, while the tubular-tip 666, 73 and 710 carry a touch more backbone for casting split-shot and Carolina rigs at distance without losing tip sensitivity.

What it's built for

All four models target aji and mebaru around harbours, breakwaters and reef edges after dark, when fish sit at range or hold deep in current. The longer 73 and 710 extend casting distance into fast water and open points; the shorter 55 and 666 suit close, structure-hugging fishing.

How it fishes

Work jig heads with a slow lift-fall or straight retrieve, watching the tip for the subtle knock of an ajing bite rather than feeling it through the blank. With split-shot or Carolina rigs, fish a slack-line fall and set on tension rather than a hard strike.

The setup it likes

Pair with a 1000–2000 size spinning reel loaded with PE0.2–0.4 or 2–3 lb fluorocarbon, and a 0.8–1.5 lb fluorocarbon leader for jig-head work, stepping up leader strength slightly for rigged casting on the 73 and 710.
