Suited to pressured bass water — clear ponds, heavily fished lakes and slow-moving rivers — where a subtle, natural falling bait draws more bites than a loud reaction lure, particularly in cooler months or bright, still conditions.

Works best on a wacky rig, neko rig, Texas rig or simple no-sinker set-up; let it sink on a slack line and twitch it gently rather than reeling it steadily.

Pairs with a 6'6"–7' medium-light spinning rod, a 2500 reel, 6–8lb fluorocarbon or braid main line, and a 5–6lb fluorocarbon leader for finesse presentations.
