Description
攻棚ワカサギ扁平穂先GS (Kodana Wakasagi Flat Tip GS) is Prox's flat-shaped glass-solid wakasagi (pond smelt) rod tip, designed to show the fish's delicate bites.
The glass solid blank is worked into a thin, flat cross-section for a high-sensitivity tip. Compared with the previous model, the taper has been revised to a slightly tip-heavier action. The tip section uses black paint with a fluorescent-color thread wrap for good visibility on the ice. A 5mm butt diameter gives broad compatibility — it fits Prox's Kodana wakasagi electric reels as well as a variety of other reels.
This listing stocks 4 variants in 28cm and 32cm lengths (SSS, SS, and S actions); Prox's full catalog spans 21cm–32cm lengths across SSS–ML actions for 11 total variants.

FAQ
What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?
JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.
How do I read Japanese rod lengths?
Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.
One-piece or multi-piece for travel?
Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.
What warranty or service do imported rods have?
There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.
Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?
It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
