Palms The Dax 40g

The Dax (ザ・ダックス) is Palms' shore jigging metal jig, built around three traits: long casting distance, high responsiveness to rod work, and a fast sink rate. It descends from the earlier Smelt Dax model, reborn as The Dax in 2018.

Its compact body is shaped for distance while still following rod work with a strong response, producing a large swim action on a straight retrieve to draw bites from a range of targets. The face, tail and side edges are all cut sharp for flash during the action and a stable flight posture, while the fast sink rate helps it work through tidal current -- all aimed at making light shore jigging easier to fish. This 40g / 60mm size (model TDX-40) carries a UV-reactive eye and comes with a Decoy assist hook and flasher fitted as standard, and is available across Palms' official colourway range, each tracked by its own JAN barcode.
