Description

The SJ-51TN Stinger is a single hook designed specifically for jigging rather than repurposed from live-bait use, built to stop the pull-outs that are the usual weak point of single hooks when targeting pelagic fish (aomono). It has an enlarged eye sized to match a cord rig for direct attachment via a split ring, or can be rigged as a short assist using braided cord and a solid ring.

The barb is reduced to 80% of standard size for a penetration-focused point, and the eye sits at a 6-degree up-angle so the cord runs straight off it. Owner recommend it for anglers using diving pencils or poppers rigged with a single hook, and for those targeting extra-large fish.
