Description

The S-135M Blue Plugger is a single hook built specifically for plug fishing for pelagic species (aoumono). It uses tough wire material for a sharp, stable point, with a wide-angle straight point designed to set on the strike rather than slip out.

Two corners on the shank control and lock the fish's flesh to suppress wobble and reduce throw-off, particularly once a fish is worked in close, while a teardrop-shaped eye keeps the split-ring movement free without sacrificing gape width. Rated strength runs from 48.96kg (107.9lb) at 8/0 to 86.6kg (191.11lb) at 9/0.
