Description

Nishine Lure Works DROPSHOT MINNOW G3 2.5 (DROPSHOT MINNOW G3 2.5) is a high-buoyancy soft bait built for drop shot rigs in clear-water smallmouth bass fishing, with results also reported on largemouth bass in high-pressure lakes.

Made from Nishine's high-buoyancy G3 material, it holds a natural profile, colour and underwater posture, producing its own subtle action from light line movement alone — no rod movement required. Beyond drop shot, it also works on a jig head or wacky rig.

This 2.5in (64mm) size weighs 1.8g per bait and is packed 7 to a pack.

Information

The swimming action

Holds a natural minnow profile, colour and posture at rest, producing its own subtle wobble from light line movement alone without any rod input.

When to throw it

Best in clear water for pressured smallmouth and largemouth bass on drop shot, particularly around deeper structure where a finesse presentation outfishes moving baits.

How to work it

Fish it dead still on a drop shot and shake the rod tip gently rather than winding; it also works on a jig head or wacky rig for a different fall.

The setup it likes

A spinning outfit around L-ML power, 2500 reel, 6-8lb fluorocarbon main line with no leader needed suits drop shot work with this bait.
