The First Jig Tachiuo Jigging is Major Craft's dedicated cutlassfish (tachiuo) jigging model, fitted front and rear with the Gekisasu Quatro hook — a Japan-made hook with a fluorine coating for exceptional penetration — so it converts short bites into solid hook-ups. A heat-shrink-sleeved swivel is fitted as standard, cutting down on line twist.

Its rear-weighted balance keeps unwanted movement to a minimum and speeds up the sink rate, so it reaches the strike zone faster. It handles both a straight swim retrieve and a one-pitch retrieve with a fall, making it flexible and forgiving enough for beginners.
