Description

Booty Shake (ブーティーシェイク) is a Magbite soft plastic worm built around a W-action tail that produces two distinct actions in one bait: the wide leaf-shaped front section of the tail grips the water strongly to call aji (Japanese horse mackerel) from a distance, while the narrow pin-tail rear section produces ultra-fine micro-vibrations that trigger the strike.

The body uses Gee Crack's SAF Material and is infused with salt, amino acids, and a shrimp-garlic scent formula. Magbite offers Booty Shake in 1.4in, 2in, and 2.5in sizes; this listing stocks the 2.5in size in 9 colourways.

Shares the Booty Shake's W-action tail, a wide leaf-shaped front section for distance appeal and a narrow pintail rear for close-range micro-vibration, in a larger 2.5-inch profile.

When to throw it

Suited to aji fishing when a slightly bigger profile than the 2-inch Booty Shake is wanted, still light enough for standard aji jig head tactics.

How to work it

Fish it on a light jig head with slow lifts or twitches, as with the smaller Booty Shake sizes.

The setup it likes

A light aji rod, 2000-2500 reel, PE 0.3-0.6 line and a fine fluorocarbon leader, rigged on a 0.6-2g jig head.
