Description

The Crazy Flapper (クレイジーフラッパー) is Keitech's super-action craw worm, built around the brand's "Ultimate Lifelike Action" design philosophy — efficiently grabbing water and converting it smoothly into action. It uses a plastic that's unusually hard for its size, so it stands up to being worked through dense cover while still delivering sharp, responsive action; salt is added only to the belly for a low centre of gravity. Side flaps on the tail stabilise the bait against rolling onto its side when it settles on the bottom.

This listing stocks the 2" size (approx. 1.2g per bait, 8 per pack; recommended hooks: straight worm hook #4 or offset worm hook #5–#6) in five colours: 520 Green Pumpkin Orange Gold, 521 Yodogawa Craw, 522 Watermelon Flash and 523 Light Watermelon Shrimp — Keitech's "Chining Special Colors," formulated for chinu/kurodai (Japanese black porgy), kibire (yellowfin seabream) and rockfish — plus 532 Ginger Shrimp from the standard colour lineup. Information

The swimming action

Hinged claws flare and grip the water for a high-efficiency, responsive action even fished shallow on minimal weight. A harder-than-usual plastic holds up to repeated casts into cover, with salt concentrated low in the body for a stable centre of gravity.

When to throw it

This colour set is Keitech's dedicated Chining Special range, formulated for chinu (black porgy) and kibire (yellowfin seabream) as well as rockfish, alongside one standard bass shrimp colour.

How to work it

Built for Texas rig, free rig and rubber-jig trailer presentations, worked through cover with pauses to let the claws flap on the fall; every colourway carries added squid flavouring.

The setup it likes

A light-to-medium spinning rod for chinu/rockfish LT rock fishing, or a medium-heavy bass rod for cover work, 10-16lb fluorocarbon or braid with a matched leader and a straight or offset worm hook sized to the 2" bait.
