Description

カワセミラプソディ (Kawasemi Rhapsody) is Jackson's trout native rod series, built for the upper reaches of mountain streams where casting room is tight and overhanging branches, streamside rocks and low grass leave little margin for error. Each length in the line-up is chosen so anglers can focus on the cast itself rather than fighting the terrain, and individual models are tuned in action to suit different lure types and techniques.

Grips are cut from natural, wood-grained cork, and guides use Fuji K-guides fitted with thin SIC-S rings, sharpening the cast feel of light lures while letting heavy sinking lures release smoothly on long casts.

This listing covers multiple spinning, casting and telescopic models from the range, including C46L, C47L-T, S601ULL, C41L, S46UL+, C43UL-G and S411L.

FAQ

What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?

JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.

How do I read Japanese rod lengths?

Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.

One-piece or multi-piece for travel?

Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.

What warranty or service do imported rods have?

There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.

Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?

It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
