Jackson G-Control 40g

The G-Control 40 is a 120mm, 40g heavy sinking minnow from Jackson, built for offshore use around a through-wire construction for handling larger fish. It uses the same second-lip design as the smaller G-Control models to give the lure lift against its own weight, keeping the retrieve responsive across a wide range of speeds instead of only working on a fast, straight retrieve.

Despite its weight class, it retains a natural swimming action, strong casting distance, and can be fished at slower speeds than a typical heavy sinking minnow — suited to seabass fishing where long casts and offshore-grade hardware are needed.
