Description

トラウトシグナル (Trout Signal) is Jackson's easy-casting, standard trout rod aimed at anglers from complete beginners to experienced casters. It shares components with the higher-spec Kawasemi Rhapsody to keep quality high while holding the price down, and blank colours are chosen to blend into stream surroundings and outdoor settings such as camping.

The range spans both Native stream models — offered in IBL (Indigo Blue), OLV (Olive) and SBG (Sand Beige) — and dedicated for-AREA (stillwater) models built for spoons through to crankbaits, offered in BPK (Blossom Pink), PBL (Powder Blue) and SBK (Stealth Black). All models use Fuji-brand guides and a wood grip, and each rod ships with a matching rod bag.

FAQ

What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?

JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.

How do I read Japanese rod lengths?

Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.

One-piece or multi-piece for travel?

Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.

What warranty or service do imported rods have?

There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.

Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?

It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
