Jackall Mellow Ring 2.5

Mellow Ring is the most voluminous silhouette in Jackall's ajing worm range, with deep, wide ribs running the length of the body. Rib depth and core thickness are tuned section by section: a shallower, thicker front section resists slipping down the hook on missed bites, a firmer mid-section stops the hook picking up the tail, and the deepest ribs sit in the rear for a soft, seductive action that responds to the faintest rod-tip shake or current change. A centre guide line makes it easy to thread straight onto the hook.

Its bulkier profile and strong wave give it real drawing power over a wide area, particularly when aji are feeding hard, and it's noted as effective on larger, fish-eating aji working anchovy and kibinago baitfish around dawn and dusk. It suits both shore fishing and bachikon (float-rig) tactics, and the 2.5" is the standard size in Jackall's two-length Mellow Ring line-up, alongside the larger 3.0" aimed at bigger fish.
