The Good Meal Makie Jig 5g is part of Jackall's be GOOD fun EGG lure and rig range, a slim, rear-weighted 38mm/5g bait jig that grips the water and flutters down on the fall as soon as it lands. It comes fitted with a hook that has a built-in bait-keeper barb (size 9) to hold bait such as sandworms or krill in place and keep hook-up rates high even on small-mouthed fish.

Designed for piers, sandy beaches and river mouths, it can be worked on a straight retrieve, bounced along the bottom, or simply dropped into gaps and lifted, and suits a 1000-2500 size spinning reel loaded with 1-2 go (4-8lb) nylon or fluorocarbon line. On the water it has taken rockfish and young seabass (seigo), among the other species noted on the pack.
