Description
The Rikushiki Anchovy Driver (陸式アンチョビドライバー) is a spinning rod for shore-based tachiuo (beltfish) casting games from breakwaters and fishing parks. A soft tip lets anglers work lures delicately, while power through the belly and butt sections allows a sharp hookset the instant a bite is felt on the fall, followed by strong retrieval.
Built with FUJI stainless-frame O-ring guides and a centre-cut 2-piece design for easy transport, with a glow-thread bite marker at the tip for visibility. It is designed to pair with the Rikushiki Anchovy Hybrid, Rikushiki Anchovy Missile, Bigbacker Soft Vib, and other dart-action tachiuo lures.

FAQ
What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?
JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.
How do I read Japanese rod lengths?
Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.
One-piece or multi-piece for travel?
Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.
What warranty or service do imported rods have?
There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.
Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?
It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
