Description
The Umitaro Jako Bug 2.6in is a crustacean-imitation soft plastic built for grouper (hata), scorpionfish (kasago) and other rockfish species that key in on small crabs and shrimp. Its bumpy, uneven body surface grips the water for extra appeal while helping the bait slide past snags, and the two differently sized pairs of antennae each put off their own distinct vibration underwater.
Four legs on the head bite into the water on the fall, giving off a fine, snag-free micro-vibration that pulls fish in even when worked slowly around structure. Rigs onto issei's Rockfish Ball jighead on a #6–#4 offset hook for this size.
