Description

The issei 海太郎根魚玉 (Umitaro Rockfish Ball) is a rockfish jighead built around an irregular, multi-faceted octahedron-based head finished in silver plating for flash. The head is smooth and flat with no sharp corners, letting it ride up and over rocks instead of wedging into crevices, and its flat underside keeps the jig stable on slopes up to 40 degrees while allowing a deliberate roll on steeper ground to trigger strikes. A tuned line eye rights the head immediately when tension is applied, even after it lands on its side. The hook is a Cultiva multi-offset hook with a fluorine coating for penetration.
