Description
TS-3 (イチカワフィッシング TS-3) is a straight hook from Ichikawa Fishing designed to slip past cover cleanly, which the maker's page states makes it especially effective at close range. Its worm keeper holds the bait firmly, and its twist (ヒネリ) bend is built to prevent pull-outs on the hookset, fish coming unbuttoned after hooking, and the bait sliding out of position during fishing.
With no gap between the eye and the shank, it also accepts a snell knot tied directly to the shank. It is finished with the maker's high-penetration "Magic Coating."
