Description
The アウトバーブジグヘッド (Out Barb Jighead) from Ichikawa Fishing replaces the fixed sinker of a conventional weighted hook with an out-barb design. Ichikawa Fishing states this removes the pendulum-release effect a fixed sinker causes when a hooked fish shakes its head, reducing lost fish. The head is a front-weighted round shape that assists roll action while swimming (as used in ミドスト mid-strolling retrieves), improves bottom sensitivity, and keeps the hook from tipping over. It is a domestically produced original jig hook finished with the maker's "magic coating" for high penetration.
