Description
The YubiSuck 40 (ゆびサック40) is HAL's 40mm light-game minnow, a downsized version of the maker's PennySuck built for area/mebaru fishing. The compact, rounded body gives a stable flight posture and strong casting distance, and the wide-tongue profile grips water firmly for a tight wobble-roll on a dead-slow retrieve that opens into a larger wobbling action as retrieve speed increases.
This F (Floating) version suits super-shallow areas or when mebaru are holding near the surface. Wind and pause the retrieve to bring the lure up and let it hang, or hold the rod tip up and skim it across the surface film.
Target species include mebaru (rockfish), kurodai (black porgy) and seabass, among other predatory fish.
