Description

The TGW Twin SP-MH Silver is a medium-heavy twin (double) sproat-bend hook built from Gamakatsu's proprietary T.G.W. (Tournament Grade Wire) in a silver finish. Its two points pivot on a moving joint, letting the hook find an angle to match the fish's mouth and continuing to adjust through the fight so the hook hole is less prone to enlarging than with a fixed treble. Gamakatsu's official listing marks both items covering this size run (68-641 for #4-#1, 68-642 for 1/0-3/0) as discontinued.

Because it presents fewer points than a treble, Gamakatsu states it causes less secondary-hook-up damage to the fish, and mounted facing outward on a plug it avoids the rattling contact noise a treble can make against the lure body. Gamakatsu lists it for shore jigging & casting, offshore jigging & casting, and bass use, in sizes #4 through 3/0.
