Description

The Gamakatsu Short Sniper Double is a double assist hook designed for small-silhouette and tungsten jigs. Despite its small hook size it uses a thick gauge paired with a short PE15-rated assist cord, and attaches to the jig via a split ring.

Like the Short Sniper Single, it's built for the shirasu (whitebait) baitfish pattern that troubles shore and offshore anglers alike, where standard light-type assist hooks can't cope with the size of fish that take small jigs. Target species range from medium pelagics in the mejiro (yellowtail) class through to madai, hirame and rockfish.
