Description

An assist hook from Gamakatsu's Sniper range (item code GA-042) built for targeting sagoshi (young Spanish mackerel) on light shore jigging, with a short profile matched to small-silhouette jigs, a thick hook gauge sized for the occasional larger sawara, and a centre-core wire construction to reduce assist-line breakages. Supplied 2 sets per pack in sizes 1, 1/0 and 2/0, rated PE15.

Gamakatsu recommends it for small-silhouette jigs in both shore jigging and offshore jigging, and suggests pairing it with their Fighting Leader for extra protection against line breaks.
