Description

LAUGHIN'250 (ラフィン 250) is a floating big bait sized as the “just right” pick for today's big-bait bass scene, positioned between the 170mm class (now barely considered a big bait) and the powerful LAUGHIN'300. At 250mm and roughly 4oz, it keeps the LAUGHIN' series' quick, pin-spot-working action and handling despite its size, and is further tuned for a slide action that wraps itself in water to widen the angler's approach.

Total length runs 230mm on the Slide Tail or 250mm on the Quick Tail, at 120g, on a 2/0 hook fitted with Treble RB-MH trebles. Like the LAUGHIN'300, it ships with the interchangeable Variable Tail System (Slide Tail / Quick Tail).

A floating big glide bait with the interchangeable Variable Tail System: the hard-silicone Slide Tail gives a firm left-right dart and solid S-action on a straight retrieve, while the soft-silicone Quick Tail grips the water for a tighter, rolling action suited to working pin spots more precisely.

When to throw it

Built for big-bait bass fishing on natural lakes and reservoirs, sized to draw wary, trophy-class fish rather than numbers of smaller bass looking for an easier meal near the surface.

How to work it

Work it on a straight retrieve for the dog-walking S-action, or slow-roll and pause it over pin spots; a short lip restrains travel distance so it keeps working within a tight zone rather than covering ground quickly.

The setup it likes

Needs a dedicated glide-bait or heavy swimbait rod (MH-H power), a large low-profile or round baitcasting reel and 16-25 lb fluorocarbon or 50-65 lb braid with a heavy fluorocarbon leader.
