Ukimaro Rod & Reel Spinning UK8012 (うきまろッド＆リールスピニング) is the spinning-reel version of Gamakatsu's beginner-friendly Ukimaro combo, built for sabiki and light casting fishing. It pairs a 5-section telescoping rod with the Ukimaro spinning reel, preloaded with 130m of 3-go line so it's ready to fish out of the pack, and uses a non-slip Ukimaro E.V.A. reel handle that turns smoothly with light effort, making it easy for children to handle.

Weight capacity is 5–18-go (roughly 15–70g) across the line-up, which spans 1.6m (100g), 1.8m (108g), 2.1m (146g) and 2.4m (176g).
