The Fishman Beams blancsierra5.2UL (Beams blancsierra5.2UL) is a full-carbon stream finesse bait casting rod, a second-generation update that recreates the bending character of the brand's original glass-solid blank in a lighter, all-carbon build.

A larger-diameter butt section adds backbone for casting lures under 2g with just elbow and wrist movement, producing low, accurate trajectories for pinpoint casts to stream trout without special technique. It also handles minnow-plug and topwater twitch/dog-walk presentations.

It is a 3-piece pack rod, 158cm (5.2ft) full length, closing to 62cm, at 104g. Rated for 2-7g lures on 3-6lb line (PE 0.5-1), with titanium and stainless K-guides (titanium tip).

What it's built for

Built for stream trout fishing where pinpoint casts under overhanging cover matter, without needing special technique to control the trajectory of very light lures. This suits technical pools where a heavier rod would overpower the presentation.
