Evergreen True Spin Jig 170g

True Spin Jig (トゥルースピンジグ) is designed by Yoshitaka Tsurusaki as an ultra-thin metal jig for pelagic species (青物) such as hiramasa (goldstriped amberjack) and buri (Japanese amberjack), with rotation added as its signature trait.

The body is kept extremely thin so its silhouette changes sharply with viewing angle, making it hard for fish to key in on. Jerking produces a strong, water-pushing dart with a fluttering action that appeals over a wide area; on the fall it slides irregularly to trigger bites. Both faces of the body are concave, so head-on water flow during the fall or while staying in place spins the jig at high speed, adding three-dimensional flash and vibration on top of a thin jig's usual strengths.

This is the 170g size: 18.9cm long. Evergreen's recommended pelagic hook setup (not included) is a #3-5 ball-bearing swivel plus a #2/0-4/0 twin assist hook, with the swivel on the front eye and the assist hook on the swivel's leader-side eye to keep the jig's rotation free.
