Evergreen Jungle Walker 5/8oz DW

Jungle Walker is a spinnerbait developed by Lake Biwa guide Kenta Onishi for big bass buried in heavily pressured weed cover. A V-shaped keel head with a low centre of gravity keeps it running true and upright even on a fast retrieve with its large blades attached, while flat side planes let it hold a steady thump on a slow roll too. That same fine, tapered keel shape parts weed cleanly on contact and sheds it off the flanks rather than fouling the hook point, and it recovers its swimming posture almost instantly after deflecting off cover, so a bass rarely gets a second look before the bait is swimming true again.

Original tight-vibration willow-leaf blades keep the profile compact and cast-friendly, and on this 5/8oz double-willow-leaf model the rear blade is stepped up a size (front #4, rear #5) for extra water push without losing the tight, low-resistance action. A shortened upper arm on 1.0mm stainless wire pulls the blades in closer to the head for a more compact, stable cast, while a wide-gape, heavy-wire hook with a silky coating and long-shank throat is built to seat and hold big fish. The silicone skirt is set at a strand count judged to give a full profile without adding drag or catching on the blades.
