Description

The Corsair 85 is an 8.5 cm, 12.5 g sinking pencil built around a unique body shape with a low-centre-of-gravity moulded weight, giving it strong water engagement through the body. It is at its best working the "bait pattern" as current conditions change.

On a slow retrieve it produces a wide, sharp meandering "Bait Escape Action", and as reeling speed builds it irregularly triggers a fleeing, panicked-bait motion at a certain speed — designed to draw a reaction strike from seabass.
