Description
The Decoy Worm33 Holder Hook is a straight worm hook, finished in NS Black, that refines the barbed 'ken-tsuki' hooks long used in bait fishing for use with soft plastics. Threaded straight through the worm, it is designed to transmit penetration smoothly on the hookset.
It uses a standard-diameter wire that Decoy describes as easy to handle across a wide range of rigs and tackle, plus a barbed keeper Decoy calls the 'Double Worm Holder' that reduces worm slippage and allows for a very shallow, minimal skin-hooking style of rigging. Decoy lists it as suited to topwater i-jerk methods and hover-strolling rigs in bass fishing, as well as split-shot and free rigs in saltwater fishing. Released April 2025.
