Description
Pike AS-03 (パイク AS-03) is Decoy's light jigging assist hook, developed under the supervision of Koichi Kubo and used in the brand's popular Twin Pike DJ-88 rig. It is built for shore and offshore light-tackle jigging.
A fine long taper and carefully tuned point angle deliver smooth, quick hook-ups, while CF (Cubical Forged) processing keeps the thin-shaft, wide-gape hook strong despite its slender profile. The two curves that bear the most stress receive reinforced flat-forging for added shaft strength, and the barb is set larger to reduce lost fish. The hook is finished in corrosion-resistant tin plating with Aqua Block treatment. A smaller #2 size was added in 2019.
