Description

Decoy AH-4 Area Hook Type IV Eric (AH-4) balances the eye, shank, gape, throat and point to chase an "easy to hook, hard to lose" profile with added rigidity. The shape is tuned around rainbow trout (Nijimasu) that take the hook directly, aiming for vibration characteristics that encourage a fish to bite down.

Despite being a fine-wire hook, the load-bearing sections are reinforced after hook-up so it resists straightening even under a stiffer rod. For wary, distance-cruising large trout, the maker recommends the larger #4 paired with a 3–5g spoon.

Shape tuned for easy, deep hook-sets with fewer hook-offs
Flat-hammered wire for maximum hardness
Finish: NS BLACK
Sizes: #6 and #4 (this listing); the full official lineup also includes #10 and #8

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
