Arcturuswater (アークトゥルスウォーター) is Daysprout's premium high-end stream rod series, built around a thin, sharp high-elasticity carbon blank (MP40x + 30t), anodized aluminum metal parts, Torzite titanium-frame guides, AAA-grade cork, and a camphor wood (紅花クスノキ) grip. Made in Japan.

The blank

A thin, high-elasticity carbon blank built for delicate, direct feel, loading readily on light lures so short flicks and roll casts stay accurate in tight streamside cover. Torzite guides and a camphor-wood grip keep the whole rod light in the hand.

What it's built for

Built for Japanese mountain streams and small-to-mid rivers, from tight headwater pockets on the shortest 3-piece models to longer, more open runs and brushy banks on the longer 2-piece versions.

How it fishes

Worked with small spoons and minnow plugs on a steady or twitched retrieve depending on model; the shorter, softer rods suit careful presentation in skinny water while the longer, stiffer models are built for distance and control on faster water.

The setup it likes

Pair with a 1000-2000 spinning reel, 5-8 lb fluorocarbon or PE 0.8 running line with a light fluorocarbon leader. Favour the lighter end of that range on the shortest, softest models in the range.

How is it priced?

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 5 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

VAT is collected at checkout, so there is nothing to pay on delivery for standard orders.
