How it fishes

Handles both moving-bait retrieves with crankbaits and spinnerbaits and slower worked worm rigs on the same blank, with the short straight grip on glass-blank models keeping the rod close to the body for control.

The setup it likes

Pair with a 7:1-class baitcasting reel, 12-16 lb fluorocarbon or braid-to-fluorocarbon leader for cover work. Use straight fluorocarbon in open water and step up to a braid-to-fluorocarbon leader around heavier timber and rock.
