Description

TATULA (TATULA), the brand born in the USA's home of bass fishing and loved by anglers on both sides of the Pacific, marks its 10th anniversary with a monocoque body plus AIRDRIVE DESIGN. The ZAION V monocoque body combines lightness and strength, resisting flex under load to assist powerful winding, while the ZAION V AIRDRIVE rotor lowers inertia for light wind-in. The ATD TYPE-L drag gives smooth, stable initial slip that reduces line load, and Quick Drag lets you adjust tension instantly with minimal knob rotation, helping land big bass quickly even on light lines.

The line-up covers an all-round, power-fishing-capable normal LT2500 and the FC (Finesse Custom) model, built one size more compact for finesse performance. Freshwater use only.

Information

The drivetrain

Marking TATULA's 10th anniversary, a ZAION V monocoque body resists flex under load to assist powerful winding, while the ZAION V AIRDRIVE rotor lowers inertia for a light, easy wind-in on the retrieve. Nothing about the feel oversells the specification; it simply delivers what a rod or reel built this way should deliver.

What it's built for

An all-round, power-fishing-capable freshwater bass reel built for anglers who want one dependable spinning reel across a range of typical bass presentations. Reach for it when the conditions and target species described above line up with your trip, rather than as a one-size-fits-all substitute.

How it fishes

The ATD TYPE-L drag gives smooth, stable initial slip that reduces line load, and Quick Drag lets you adjust tension instantly with minimal knob rotation to help land big bass quickly on light lines. Fine details of speed and rhythm are best tuned on the water, since light and clarity change how fish respond to it.

Spools and spares

Pair with a bass spinning rod matched to your presentation, fluorocarbon line suited to LT2500 capacity, and light-to-medium bass lures for freshwater-only use. Local conditions and the typical fish size on your water should guide the last details of line and leader choice.
