Description

Daiwa's best-selling spinning reel LEGALIS (レガリス) has had a full model change. Newly adopting AIRDRIVE DESIGN and ZAION V for the body and rotor lifts both rigidity and lightness (approx. 20g lighter than the previous model in LT2500S-XH). The ZAION V AIRDRIVE ROTOR gives lighter, crisper winding and stopping.

LEGALIS is the first in the series to adopt a screw-in handle, so SLP Works/RCS handles and other screw-in-spec reel handles can be fitted, and larger sizes use a power-light-type EVA knob. Designed for trouble-free days on the water across trout, egi squid, and saltwater species such as sardines, mackerel, flounder, and horse mackerel.

How it fishes

As the first in the series to adopt a screw-in handle, it accepts aftermarket screw-in handles for a customised feel, while larger sizes use a power-light EVA knob for comfortable extended retrieves. Watch how fish respond on the day and be ready to slow down or speed up the retrieve accordingly.

Spools and spares

Pair with a general-purpose spinning rod suited to your target species, light-to-medium PE or nylon line, and a leader appropriate to trout, egi or saltwater lure fishing as needed. Fine-tune the exact line class and leader strength to local structure and the average size of fish you expect to meet.

When does my order leave Japan?

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
