Description

SUNAMARU (砂丸) is Buddy Works' surf-specific spin-tail jig for flatfish (ヒラメ / hirame), built to solve the three common spin-tail complaints: reduced casting distance, blade-and-hook tangling, and low hook-up rates from blade bites.

The body rolls with a tight, regular spoon-like action while the original #3.5 blade rotates with a slight synchronized sway, appealing to flatfish. A deliberate single-hook (#6) system keeps the roll consistent and stable, and concentrates bites on a compact target for a higher hook-up rate. The blade attaches via a swivel (#0) set back from the body edge so it does not tangle with the hook.
