Description
BARIKI is BlueBlue's offshore jigging rod built for blue-water species over 10kg, including yellowtail (buri/warasa), yellowtail amberjack (hiramasa) and greater amberjack (kanpachi). The name BARIKI (馬力) combines "horsepower" and "strength," reflecting the stamina an angler needs to actively shake and rhythmically work a metal jig rather than let the rod do the work passively.
This listing stocks two models: BARIKI 604, a High Response rod (1.82m/6.0ft, 220g, lure weight to 180g/max 250g, PE4.0, 8kg max drag, 1-piece), and BARIKI 632, a Low Response rod (1.92m/6.3ft, 195g, lure weight to 125g/max 180g, PE4.0, 5kg max drag, 1-piece).

FAQ
What does the power rating (UL, L, M, MH) actually mean?
JDM power letters often run lighter than the same letter on a US or Australian blank. The honest spec is the lure-weight range in grams on each listing — match that to what you throw, and use the letter as a tiebreaker.
How do I read Japanese rod lengths?
Japanese lengths are written in feet and inches as a decimal: 6.6 reads as 6 feet 6 inches, not six-point-six feet.
One-piece or multi-piece for travel?
Two-piece and telescopic travel rods pack shorter and ship more easily. One-piece blanks feel cleaner, but long parcels can attract courier length surcharges and some carriers route them more slowly.
What warranty or service do imported rods have?
There is no local service centre for a JDM rod. Repairs go back to Japan, usually with a fee and a multi-week turnaround — we state that plainly so you can weigh it before you buy.
Will a one-piece rod cost more to ship?
It can. Long parcels attract courier length surcharges on some routes and can move through fewer carriers. Any shipping cost shows at checkout before you pay — no surprises after the order.
