The Abu Garcia TRV DLC (ティーアールブイディーエルシー) is a DLC-coated baitcasting reel with a built-in line counter from Abu Garcia Japan, aimed at anglers who want a steady, controlled retrieve.

A retrieve-speed meter is shown above the line counter so anglers can gauge and hold a consistent winding speed. The 120mm long carbon handle (4mm-thick carbon) keeps weight down while supporting stable cranking. Super-duralumin gears and the carbon handle bring total weight to 198g. A Carbon Matrix drag plus a drag-clicker add a smoother, more exciting fight with audible drag-click feedback.

Other features: 9 stainless ball bearings + 1 roller bearing (with a SaltSield-sealed bearing at the pinion gear), a backlit line counter, gunwale alarm, simple 2-button counter operation (power on/off and reset/light), a spool with under-wind guide marks (1/3 and 1/2), and a user-replaceable CR2032 counter battery. The line counter ships pre-loaded for PE1.5 (200m, four-strand braid); other line set-ups are entered via the counter's input modes.
