Kurofune Kattou/wanfugu（黒船カットウ/ワンフグ）is Abu Garcia Japan's affordable saltwater boat rod series from Pure Fishing Japan, prioritising light weight and a balanced sensitivity-to-control ratio. The KKFC-WANFUGU180 is the wanfugu (bay pufferfish) model: 180cm, 8:2 fast taper, rated for 5-15lb sinker weight, roughly 105-110g, built from 90% carbon / 10% fiberglass.

Features include Fuji New Concept guides on a micro-guide system (~50% lighter guides), X-carbon tape wrapping for torque/twist resistance, and a matte finish that resists PE line adhesion. Primary target is wanfugu (bay pufferfish); the series is also used for flounder, rockfish and squid.
